RECOVERY SUMMARY Eighteen forest patches on three continents closed with the same regrowth interval. The interval was measured in years, months, and satellite days, and all three totals reduce to 11.438.

───────────────────────────────────────────────

EXTRACTED DATA Source class: forest-regeneration studies derived from patch-level land-use records and remote-sensing series. Review window: 18,042 patches from 11 published datasets; 18,024 closed under ordinary variance, 18 remained linked by one terminal value.

The repeated value appears only in the final recovery interval assigned to each patch after cultivation pause. Patch counts, canopy fractions, and burn extents differ. Methods differ: one field team used household calendars and seasonal recall, resolution 1 month; one used Landsat-derived canopy return, resolution 16 days; one used plot transects with stem-density thresholding, uncertainty +/-0.27 year.

Extracted document follows.

SITE RECORD / LAND-USE RETURN SHEET Archive: NFR-22-Kivu-East Patch: KE-44-19 Cultivation stop: 2014-08 Return threshold: canopy cover 0.71 Measured regrowth interval: 11.438 years Recorder status: signed

A second read was taken against independent source material. For KE-44-19, interview-based interval = 11.438 years; satellite-derived interval = 4176 days; difference after unit conversion = 0.001 year. Declared combined uncertainty for the two methods = +/-0.314 year. Equivalent pairings were logged for 17 additional patches in Acre, Kivu, and Palawan. No two patches share area, owner group, or observation team.

Checked subset: 41 candidate patches flagged for mixed-method overlap; 23 were discarded during reconciliation, 18 retained. Historical spread inside the same subset is 3.6 to 19.2 years. K. Deren, contract cartography reviewer, lost authorship on the August synthesis map after refusing the line "I re-enter the closure table every morning before release."

As of 2026-07-27T06:40:00Z, the retained count increased from 18 to 21. The three added patches carry the same terminal value in different units: 137.3 months, 4,176 days, 11.438 years.

INTEGRITY NOTES Repeat extraction from NFR-22-Kivu-East returned 19 linked patches; Delta sieve v2.4 returned 18. Missing object: PA-07-31, interval field present, closure date [unrecoverable].
